The tax revenue that Silver Companies developments generate has transformed the city. Back in 1998, three years after construction on Central Park started, the City Manager told the Free Lance-Star that, “little of what we’re doing now could be done without it. Pre-Central Park, what was going on? Basically, we were doing day-to-day maintenance… Central Park has had a day-to-day impact on the lives of kids, residents, businesses, the list goes on.”
